Employers attending the job fair are offering a wide range of jobs—part-time, full-time, and flexible scheduling. Resource providers can help you locate the right program or support to help you build a career path or start a new job. 

Apprenticeships

The Maine Apprenticeship Program is a career development program that’s fast, flexible—and proven to yield the skilled workers Maine needs. Employers offering apprenticeships will be at the event. Learn about the many industries that offer apprenticeships and meet employers who offer apprenticeships. Employers who want to develop an apprenticeship program can also connect with MAP staff here.

Everyone is welcome. Even if you’re not sure what job you want to get next or what career you’d like to begin, stopping by to talk to employers and providers can help you make plans and find a new path. Looking to take the next step in your current career? This event is an opportunity to connect with employers with positions matching your skill sets. 

Support and Resources

The Springvale CareerCenter, Sanford Community Adult Education, and the Maine Apprenticeship Program have many resources for job seekers. 

Sanford Community Adult Education (SCAE) offers comprehensive support to help adults reach their goals. Our services include employment search assistance, academic preparedness, and college readiness—equipping learners with the skills and confidence to succeed in the classroom, the workplace, and beyond.  

The Maine CareerCenters offer career services for all job seekers. We assist with career guidance and exploration, job and training resources searches, and much more. Customers are welcome to request assistance from the CareerCenter in preparing for a hiring event. Walk-in hours for the Springvale CareerCenter are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8am – 5pm.
