1. Consumers for Affordable Health Care is a Maine-based nonprofit dedicated to improving access to affordable, quality, and equitable health care for all people living in Maine. We help consumers tackle issues in health coverage, develop policy initiatives to improve access to care, and strive to improve health equity in our state.  
2. My Maine Connection through Department of Health and Human Services- MaineCare eligibility is based on household composition and income. There are also additional options for people with disabilities and certain health conditions, young adults who have been in foster care, and those who need long-term care.
