We invite you to join us for an all-sector hiring event at Sanford Community Adult Education on September 16th, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This low-key event welcomes job seekers, employers, and resource providers in a warm, collaborative environment. CareerCenter and Adult Education staff and resources are also available to help connect employers, resource providers, and job seekers make connections. If the weather is pleasant, we will be outside. If it is uncomfortable or inclement, we will be in our usual space in the SCAE Library.

What to expect
Attendees can expect a welcoming and informative event designed to connect job seekers with a variety of local employers and community resources. You’ll have the opportunity to meet hiring representatives face-to-face, learn about current job openings, and discover training and support programs to help you reach your career goals. CareerCenter staff will be available throughout the event to provide personalized guidance, answer questions, and assist with job search tools and services. Whether you’re looking for immediate employment, exploring new career paths, or seeking additional support, this event is a great place to start.
