Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign 2025
Maine’s Hire-A-Vet Campaign for 2025 is in “full swing”. Thank you to all the employers and resource providers who participated in the opening ceremony and kick-off hiring event at the Civic Center. If you participated in the Augusta event, please let us know how we did by completing a brief survey at Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign Survey.
The planning committee is focused on the second stop of the campaign at the University of Maine Orono. This event will be held outside in the common area adjacent to the Memorial Union building and is a Rain or Shine event.
Participating employers and resource providers will need to supply their own table, chairs, and canopies. This event is limited to 50 participants. Reminder, employers need to be registered in the Maine JobLink with at least one active job posted on the day of the event. Whether you are looking for your first job after your military service or seeking a much-deserved career upgrade, our campaign hiring events are for you. Every campaign event is open to ALL JOB SEEKERS.
Our third stop of the campaign will be down in Saco at the Maine Sports Arena on October 16, 2025. We will be wrapping up the campaign at the University of Maine Farmington on November 13, 2025.
