A winter storm is expected to bring a wintry mix including sleet and freezing rain creating hazardous driving conditions for Friday morning’s commute in Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset and Washington counties. As a result, Governor Mills has directed State offices in ONLY those 6 counties to delay opening on Friday, April 3, 2026 until 11:00 a.m.
