The Re-employment Services and Eligibility Assessment program provides unemployment insurance claimants who are selected with opportunities such as one-on-one coaching and relevant services to help them on their re-employment journey.  Once selected for the RESEA program, participation is mandatory and failure to participate could lead to a denial of unemployment benefits. All 12 Career Center locations participate in RESEA with dedicated staff delivering the program. Customers who need technical assistance can contact their local Career Center for assistance and also request any accommodations.

What to expect

Participants will receive a quick introduction to the Occupational Information Network, (O*NET.) RESEA participants also leave their session with a re-employment plan tailored to their specific needs, such as a referral to our local workforce partners, a referral to another agency, or to a specific job-related training referral. Each customer gets additional re-employment research resources. While the RESEA program currently offers one appointment, participants will have the opportunity to opt in to receive further support from a non-RESEA career counselor.
