    The MDOL Bureau of Unemployment Compensation’s Employer Assistance Division is available to provide employers 1:1 assistance with Unemployment- an insurance program funded by unemployment premiums paid by employers based on the amount of wages paid for covered employment.

    Rapid Response is a program to assist workers facing job loss due to downsizing or closures. Rapid Response can assist in a layoff of any size business or any number of employees. Rapid Response helps businesses and workers during and after a lay off.
